This video is about | YouTube Premiere | What is YouTube Premieres | How to use YouTube Premiere | YouTube | Premiere | YouTube Premieres YouTube Premieres is a feature that lets you and your viewers watch and experience a new video together, much like a movie or TV-show premiere. Premiering your video allows you to schedule a video upload and create buzz around the video with a shareable watch page. Note: Premiering a video can only be done on desktop. However, viewers can watch the premiere on any platform (Desktop, iOS, Android, mWeb etc.) Premiere a new video Click on Upload at the top of the page, or visit youtube.com/upload. Select Scheduled in the drop-down menu. Note that selecting Public will prompt the premiere to start immediately after the video has finished uploading. Unlisted videos cannot be premiered. Select the video. Note: 360/vr180 or an output greater than 1080p is not supported for premieres at the moment. On the next page, toggle on Premiere. Select the date and time of your premiere. When the video is done processing, click 'Premiere' in the top right-hand corner. Before the premiere starts: A public watch page is created. The video will eventually be premiered on this watch page. A tune-in notification is sent around 30 minutes before the start of a premiere to viewers who have opted in to receiving notifications (bell icon). A second notification is sent at the start, letting viewers know that the premiere is starting. Learn more about managing notifications You and your audience can interact in comments, live chat and, if enabled, Super Chat. Tip: Viewers are able to set reminders for premieres. Encourage them to set a reminder on the watch page via a pinned comment, in the description or over chat. When the premiere starts: A countdown will appear during the first 2 minutes of the premiere. When the countdown has finished, viewers watch the video together in real time. Viewers can't scrub forwards, but they can scrub backwards during the stream. There is a concurrent viewers count that shows the number of viewers watching. You and your audience can interact in comments, live chat and, if enabled, Super Chat. When the premiere is over: The video remains on your channel as a regular upload. Note: After the premiere, the countdown won't be included in your video. Chat replay is available for viewers who want to experience the premiere chat after it has ended.
